We have moved to our new centre in Tooley Street. This move is about creating efficiencies, being greener and fostering a more innovative approach to working. The location has excellent public transport links and our new accommodation provides great facilities for cyclists too.
All staff benefit from this move, even those who are not based there, as it provides the council’s training hub and a touchdown centre when visiting the building.

Modern ways of working
A key element of our approach has been modernising the way we work. We have introduced a series of options to support a variety of work patterns and meet service requirements. These include home working, flexi-time, term time working, and compressed working week.
Employee development
It’s our ambition to create a highly skilled and motivated workforce. Development is being embedded as a key part of the organisational culture .
